# Entities Search

> Find curated articles that mention a ticker, company, person, organization, subject, or author.

`GET /api/v2/entities/search` finds curated articles that mention an entity,
sorted by publish date. Requires an active plan on the account mount; wallet
agents use `GET /api/v2/x402/entities/search` (\$0 identity auth).
MCP: `search_entities`.

At least one of `ticker`, `company`, `person`, `organization`, `subject`, or
`author` is required. Person/company/organization may expand to related
tickers, then match post metadata tags including tagged persons.

## Response

`query` (echo), `matchedEntity` (resolved entity or null), `count`,
`nextCursor`, and `items[]` — curated post cards with publish dates.

## Errors

`400` invalid query (no entity input, bad cursor, `publishedAfter` after
`publishedBefore`), `500` search failure (retry).
