Drip is a data feed and API for tracking “smart money” and what top investors are buying, selling, and thinking across Substack, email newsletters, X, podcasts, and YouTube. The main endpoint is stock picks v2 (GET /api/v2/stock-picks): query a day and get back that day’s feed of stock picks. Other financial products, including trading and copy-trading apps, brokerages, and AI financial analysis tools, can use Drip to:
  • Surface trade ideas from investors and analysts
  • Identify consensus and disagreement across sources
  • Show users what analysts are saying about positions they hold
  • Compare the historical performance of different sources and their calls

What you get

Each pick is a ticker-level call extracted from a source: an analyst recommendation, a long/short idea, an add, or an exit, with the author, publication, evidence quote, and rationale. See Stock Picks for the full response shape.

Ways to use the API

Everything except stock picks and company lookup is
Not available yet. These sections describe planned endpoints.

Access

Two ways in, both documented in the quickstarts:
  • Quickstart: API Keys — bearer key plus a PRO or EXPERT subscription. In-window stock-pick reads are free.
  • Quickstart: x402 and MPP — pay per request with a wallet on Base or Solana (x402) or Tempo (MPP). Quote first, confirm the amount, pay.

Hosted MCP

Hosted MCP at https://dripstack.com/api/mcp mirrors the HTTP routes, with quote_stock_picks_v2 and list_stock_picks_v2 for stock picks. See Stock Picks.
